Simply amazing !!

This is our second time at the cabin and we will keep coming back guaranteed ! The cabin has everything that you could possibly need or want. The owners extra touches even made our stay more special. The cottage is beautiful and so cozy !!! We love visiting from NY and can't wait to come back. Sean and Elena Austin, Long Island NY 2016 - Easter Weekend

Exactly what we were looking for!

We enjoyed all the attention to detail in this lovely cabin, ie. our name on the welcome sign, and extra amenities such as trashbags, papertowels, cleaning suplies, dish soap, handsoap, extra tp, etc. even though i brought all of that stuff, it was nice that it was provided. The cabin was very quaint with very nice furnishings...it might have been a little small for our group of six, but we made it work and was quite cozy! Close to everything we wanted to do! Will definitely rent this property again. Sheree Brunswick, OH

Awesome Stay

This little cabin has a big personality. Clean, comfy, and cozy. We would definitely stay here again. Very close to all the areas we visited during our stay. Koosier State Park, Hidden Valley, Laurel Ridge XC ski area, Laurel Hill State Park. Well furnished with all the comforts of home. I would recommend this place to friends and relatives. Always got a quick response from the owners when I emailed them with a question prior to our stay. Although there are cots for 2 extra people to sleep I think 6 adults would be a bit cramped here. There were 4 of us and we had plenty of room. We had an awesome stay!

Quaint, cozy, absolutely beautiful, immaculate...

This little cottage was absolutely perfect! We fell in love with it as soon as we unlocked the door. The owner takes very good care of it…it was spotless when we arrived. The owner also provided a "welcome" sign for our family by the cozy fireplace, which indeed made us feel right at home. Games and crosswords/sudokus were also provided, which was awesome. We had a wonderful time in this quiet, cozy little slice of heaven & we can't wait to plan our next visit!

Quaint, Quiet Property Nestled Near Everything

My wife wanted to see Falling Waters and do Pittsburgh. I wanted to go hiking and camping, but realized that might be tough with a 1 year old. I would say that this place was better than any compromise we could have dreamed of. What a wonderful stay over Labor Day weekend! Quiet, secluded, peaceful, yet near everything we wanted to do. We were able to do some adventures during the day, come back and cook a nice dinner, and then have a drink next to a campfire. It was the perfect getaway! Thanks for a wonderful property.

Just what the doctor ordered

Beautifully appointed, cozy, comfortable and just the spot to recharge your batteries. We loved the outdoor fireplace where we toasted marshmallows and made those weird little pie things using bread and pie fillings and the place had all the equipment you needed. Hope to get back again soon.

Very pleased with this lovely little cabin!

The photos and description were very representative of the property. It is a very cute and quaint little cabin that offers private seclusion. It is very clean and well kept and the surroundings are very natural, with lovely large mountain laurel very close to the cabin. It is a great place to spend some quality time with friends. We enjoyed the table out in back and the fire pit in the front of the cabin. We also had the opportunity to visit Fallingwater. The drive from the cabin is easy and takes about 20-25 minutes. Angela is a wonderful hostess and always responded promptly to any inquiries that we had. I would recommend this destination to others, especially if you are looking for something truly quaint and charming.

All the benefits of home!

The property was clean and cozy. It was stocked with everything you need such as firewood, trash bags, paper towels, clean cooking utensils, cleaning supplies. We grilled out each night and saw some cool birds. Additionally, the property is a 5 minute drive from food, grocery shopping, and gas. The owners are very responsive if you have any questions. The kitchen and dining area was surprisingly big. I would recommend this property to a family member.

Spotlessly Clean Cabin

The cabin was really nice inside. Surprisingly cozy after an extremely wet month of June! It was well-appointed with comfortable leather couch and love seat, a lovely reading nook, flameless candles that lit on a timer to add to the homey feel of the living area. The kitchen was also set-up with everything you would need to fix a quick meal or a more elaborate dinner. There was great outdoor space too - the front yard had a super cool, two-sided fireplace, chairs and a table with chairs. The only critic would be that the driveway needed some work. It's pretty steep and with all the rain, the gravel was washed away which could make it tricky if you didn't approach it correctly or in bad weather. A delightful cabin that we highly recommend! Thanks Crimson Oak Rentals!

An amazing weekend getaway

I had an amazing experience renting from Crimson Oak Rentals. My college roommates and I rented the cabin for a ski weekend. 5 of us were able to stay comfortably and each had a very comfortable place to sleep. The cabin was very clean. The window in the living room has an absolutely beautiful view. It was so close to the ski resorts that instead of paying for the expensive food there, we were able to make the trip back to the cabin to eat lunch. The cabin is also very close to an Inn where we had lunch Sunday. The Inn was a very friendly place with a lot of locals. I highly recommend this cabin. I will be using it again next year.

Beautiful cabin nestled in the Laurel Mountains!

My two sons and I stayed at this beautiful cabin from 2/27-3/1 for a snow tubing weekend. It is located just down the road from Hidden Valley, in walking distance of the Laurel Mountain Inn (a great place to grab a meal), and a short drive to the grocery store. The location is perfect. It’s right off of the main road, Glades Pike (Rt 31), but set far enough back that it’s completely private. We brought plenty of food with us for the weekend. After snow tubing, we would come back to the cabin, make our meals and relax in the cozy living room and watch movies. It was a perfect way to come out of the cold and warm up in this homey cabin. I can tell the owners put a lot of hard work and care into the renovations and I absolutely fell in love with the décor! I’m excited to stay during other seasons to take advantage of the other local attractions. There are a few state parks nearby, some of which have a beach on the lake…planning on packing a picnic lunch and enjoying a day in the sun! A couple of other places on our list for our next stay are Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater and spending the day at Idlewild. I’m happy to have found a rental place that is CLEAN, well taken care of, and reasonably priced. I will admit, I’m always hesitant when staying at new places because I can be a bit of a clean freak and this cabin has exceeded my expectations.

Very clean, private and cozy!

I had the pleasure of enjoying a family fun filled weekend at Crimson Oak Rentals from February 28 - March 2, 2015. The cabin is very well decorated and gives a warm homey feeling. The reading nook chair gliders were a favorite of mine to relax in while viewing the flat screen TV and playing on my Ipad. The kitchen is perfect to prepare family meals and is a great way to save money as opposed to dining out three times daily. There are plenty of sights to see in that area such as Falling Water, Kooser State park, and Glades Pike winery. I would highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking to enjoy a wonderful stay in the Laurel Mountains. John A.

Amazing weekend getaway!! Made many memories!!

My family and I stayed here for the first day of trout weekend and I couldn't have been more satisfied with the experience! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed! The owners were great to work with and its obvious they put a lot of thought and care into the place!! The cabin was within walking distance to the trout stream and to the laurel mountain inn which is a great restaurant/ bar. My kids had an unforgettable experience and are still talking about it! We will definitely return for another relaxing weekend. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs a great weekend getaway!
